Roomba 880 vs 650:The robot vacuum market is growing enormously, as the models not only becomes cheaper, but becomes more efficient so that both mopping, sweeping and vacuuming are possible on a number of hard and soft floors. Far from the idiosyncratic semi-useful devices they have begun, they have become an essential part of a hectic lifestyle that can move your habitat. They can now count on a complete cleaning cycle.
If you have 1 to 2 large rooms, you need to clean with the Roomba 650, for a better value.
If you have a larger house with 4+ rooms and navigation requirements for multiple rooms, the Roomba 880 is better.
There are now devices that match all tastes and budgets, and even the cheapest version that has reached a fairly good level of cleaning, the consumer is spoiled for choice. That is, manufacturers must distinguish themselves from the crowd, and that is where iRobot Roomba series comes in its entirety.
Generally regarded as one of the highest quality and the best performers, the Roomba has evolved over the years to provide a tight set of robust and easy-to-use robot floor cleaners. But just on a Roomba of all other manufacturers, you just put another problem: Which Roomba is the best for you?
The Roomba 600 Series is of good quality, effective cleaning bots, but you may want the extra luxury of the 800 Series with its enhanced functionality. Determining what’s best for your needs depends on a number of factors you care about, but to help you with the first decision, we put the Roomba 650 against the powerful Roomba 880 and explain the facts to you.

So even before we begin to see the details, you can see that the 800 Series has much more to offer in terms of functionality, but it’s all worth the extra $ 300-350 that you probably need to explain .
If you only have a small apartment, going out of a multi-room device may not seem to be a good idea, especially when the 880’s cheaper stalks come close to the cleaning options. Even if you suffer from allergies, the more effective HEPA filtration on the more expensive model can make you more profitable.
Let’s look at different features.
Roomba 880 vs 650 Characteristics Compared in details (Roomba 880 vs 650)
Cleanliness. This should be by far the most important aspect for anyone who purchases a cleaner, but then it’s clean and then it’s very clean and that’s the choice you get at the Roomba range. A combination of powerful motor, self-priming vacuum head and side brushes means that each of the Roomba range will leave your floors spic and span.
Both models have the rotating side brush for cleaning the wall. This sturdy little device rotates quickly and pushes the corner dirt into the path of the main vacuum head and causes it to be retrieved. While there is only one side brush, the Roomba cleans effectively by approaching walls of different directions, so that the brush can be used on all walls. For Roomba 880 check price below!
The Roomba’s have a good combination of counter-rotating soft rubber collectors that drive dirt and debris in the vacuum area, and a powerful engine that sucks it all in the spacious storage room.
Both units have a variety of sensors to find dirt and use multi-pass technology to ensure a thorough beauty, but the 880 scores once more by integrating a higher degree of sensors and even recognizes small spots of dirt and fluff that are needed have deleted. Whether you use these bumps on hard floors or carpet, you can be well assured of cleaning a god. It has to be said that although that very high stack of carpets and carpets can beat them and if you have such floors, but generally everything is 1/2 inch or less.
Navigation. In fact, the 650 is only limited to one room at a time and uses virtual walls – virtually anything they imply – to navigate the area, while the 880 is virtually free to penetrate the entire area through the use of lighthouses that enable the small robot to navigate from a room and around a larger area. These devices provide a signal for the 880 to follow and when strategically placed, they move the vacuum around a much larger and complex area than a simple room. For Roomba 650 Check price below
The optical and acoustic sensors mounted on each model are quite good, allowing them to move freely freely, but while large furniture is a thing, small objects like ornaments and floor vases can bend for a bit of bashing when the cleaner asks in What seems a random fashion but is actually a program designed for full coverage.
Both machines have edge sensors to prevent them from falling down. That does not mean that they are completely free and cheerfully fall into skirting and furniture as they work their way around your room. However, that is a problem with all robots vacuum cleaners, instead of something for the Roomba range, and it’s getting less trouble because robotic navigation systems are getting more and more advanced.
Features(Roomba 880 vs 650)
Although the two devices look like the equipment they have at first sight, it quickly turns out that the 880 has a convenience that distinguishes its smaller brother. Both devices can be programmed to work at certain times over a seven-day period, allowing you to return from that business trip to your living room, which smells fresh, but the 880 does with a little more finesse and a touchscreen box instead of a set of a little bunch of buttons like the 650. But if you do not feel like bending, the 880 has a remote control that does the same.
The main feature of the 880 must be the HEPA filtration system, designed to filter allergens and other debris that may affect those with a more sensitive nose. And it is also a good task to easily pack this animal house and pack it in the package. The battery and the battery are the two features that are likely to be of interest to the consumer as if they are not big enough, your robot vacuum partner is likely to be in trouble.
The battery is less problem because it is both high capacity and rechargeable. The ‘home’ base on both units serves as a charging station and ensures that they are always at capacity when needed. In addition, the Roomba’s will return to the base in the middle if they find that the battery is low.
The bin is a bit more a problem, and although it is relatively large, it is not huge – since no robot is any big – and it must be empty regularly. This can be a problem with the 880 and the ability to get even the smallest crumbs, as the tray fills up so much faster. Those in the wolves may find that they spend a lot of time and empty the garbage because the 880 is so effective.

My Final Verdict Which one should you go with?
The iRobot Roomba’s are fantastic units that can give you confidence to let them go before you leave and return to a clean and tidy living space. While the 650 version has a lower specification and fewer features, its lower price will undoubtedly make it attractive to those who clean on a budget or a smaller surface. Prices may fluctuate, but make sure you check this offer first.
But the extra beauty of the 880 makes it a must for people with serious allergies or badly polluting pets. For pet owners I would definitely go with the Roomba 880. I’ve found the best prices for this offer online.
When purchasing an iRobot device, you are almost sure that you are getting one of the best performing products on the market, and if you want or need extra money, it’s up to you, but you get a lot more robotic suction for your money
