Quick Overview (Roomba 665 vs 650)

It is true that there are several important factors that measure the robustness of the functionality, reliability and durability of a robotic vacuum. To see if Roomba 665 vs 650 meet the minimum requirements of a ‘well-functioning’ smart floor cleaner, we will evaluate, compare and evaluate the most important aspects of these robotic vacuum cleaners.

1. Installation process (Roomba 665 vs 650)

Setting up Roomba 665 and 650 is quite easy. Activating both devices involves pressing  a few buttons and it’s an intuitive process with zero chance of disappearing. If you are contemplating on how to figure out the  set up process for both Roomba 665 and 650 , then you have nothing to be afraid of as each pack contains a “User’s Guide” which  perfectly explains how each of these smart floor cleaners can be activated.

If the user guide is not working properly, then you have the last option of visiting the iRobot support team on their website. Those guys are great and you will get all the answers you’re looking for.

2. Design (Roomba 665 vs 650)

It’s not enough that a modern gadget is functional and effective. With all the features it has, it’s vital that the product looks attractive and shiny. Today, when people build smart homes, everyone focuses on buying beautiful gadgets, making their homes ever more modern and technical.

Therefore, it is essential that our robotic vacuum cleaners are both functional and attractive. Let’s take a look at what people have to  say about Roomba 665 vs 650 appearance.

Performance for Roomba 665 & 650

This part of the roomba 665 vs 650 review  is the most important because if these robotic vacuums can’t perform at an acceptable level, we should start thinking about alternatives. So let’s find out how good can Roomba 665 vs 650 perform and if there are major difference between these two roomba models.

Roomba 665

The Roomba 665 Vacuum Cleaner provides thorough cleaning on all types of floors and all with a push of a button. The patented 3-stage Cleaning System can easily absorb dust, pet hair and large debris, just like grain. This can be achieved only by pressing “Clean” button or running your Roomba seven times a week. You can also use your Roomba with the included dual-mode virtual wall barrier in the virtual wall or the halo mode for more cool control over where your robot cleans. The iRobot Lithium Ion Battery can help your robot extend the distance and extend the battery life.

For a 3.6 cm long, this robotic vacuum is specially designed to fit most furniture, beds and kickboards. When tested on different surfaces and cleaned the dust, fur, fibers and sand, the results are quite interesting. But what you might not like about  this robotic vacuum is that it often fades spots and sometimes those spots are very visible.

Roomba 665 Features Compared with 650

It works well as a basic automated vacuum, but there are some important features that seems to be absent However, if you just need a basic robot vacuum, the 665 is a good affordable option to checkout for.

The Roomba 665 uses an older version of iAdapt technology, like the Roomba 650. It does a good job to navigate your home, to deal with certain obstacles, and to switch from one floor to the other. However, the cleaning pattern that follows is completely random. So, while it will clean everywhere, it will take a long time for this random pattern. Certainly, it will clean everywhere, but it may take up to twice as long as some of the better models like the Roomba 880.

Now the 665 is technically singled out for  pets, which means it has been specially designed to collect pet hair. It uses something called AeroVac technology, which uses special vacuum cleaners to suck pet hair.

Although this works well for hard floors, the floor coverings do not work well. This is due to the fact that the Roomba 665 still uses the old brick lattice system with brushed rolls.  In other words, the brushes tend to be clogged so that they need a fair amount of maintenance.

The Roomba 665 has a very slim profile, so it has no problem with small objects such as sofas and beds. It also comes with cliff detection, so it does not fall into big drops. However, it does not come with a special fire detection system, it does not have the hard/soft barrier detection system, and it also has no anti-tangle tech. The vacuum on this model is also not the strongest,so it can take a couple of passes over the same spot to really get everything.

The Roomba 665 has a much better battery, runtime and charging time than the roomba 650, which is an obvious bonus. Having said that, the battery will not last as long as the more advanced models, especially those with lithium-ion batteries.

A big front for the Roomba 650 is that it currently has a huge dust bin, much bigger than any other model. This means you do not have to empty it so often. This model is also equipped with a single virtual wall system, so you can keep it quite complicated, or at least can make it stays out of a certain room. This model also has side brushes that comes into angles, but they are not as advanced as with the roomba  880 or the other later models.

Roomba 665 Cons (Some disadvantages)

Now there is nothing inherently wrong with this model, but it lacks some key features that make the newer and advanced models so great.

Although it has a good domestic vacuum cleaner system for hard surfaces, it does not work well on high wooden carpets, especially when the hair is involved. The brushes can easily get clogged.

The roomba  665 has an arbitrary cleaning pattern which means that the stains can be missed, again this takes a longer time before the job.

In addition, apart from the fact that it is visually appealing, we also  need to know the dimensions of the robot vacuum because this again plays an important role in cleaning your home. I personally haven’t met someone who owns a Roomba 665 but I did online research and 8 out of 10 owners were pleased with the look of Roomba 665.

All I can say is that Roomba 665 can easily crawl among the hardest places and it will have zero problems to clean up the dirt. As for the robot vacuum package, check the list below:

3. Performance(Roomba 665 vs 650)

We can consider this part of our article most important, because if these robotic vacuum cleaners can not move to an acceptable level, we need to think of alternatives. So let’s know how well Roomba 650 and 655 can perform and if there is a big difference between these two models.

Roomba 650

Roomba 650 is a striking robot-like vacuum that is known to be a really good performer. It has some good qualities and can do wonders when used correctly.

To begin with, Roomba 650 is a randomly clean robotic vacuum that has a bad understanding of the environment. In other words, Roomba 650 makes it difficult to determine which places are cleaning more or less.

In order to make full use of our Roomba 650, it is essential to place the Virtual Walls so that Roomba 650 begins with more sensible and effective moves.

Roomba 650 has a 3-stage cleaning system. It easily clean tiles, carpets, rugs, and hardwood. It gets even cooler if you realize that the Roomba 650 for car fits all floors. For example, if it works on the floors and the surface changes immediately, for example on a rug, Roomba 650 will automatically adjust the cleaning style.

The duration of Roomba 650 is great. We conducted numerous tests and concluded that this robotic vacuum has an exceptional 60 minute runtime.

In addition, Roomba 650 has a cool feature called ‘Scheduling‘ which can clean the whole house throughout the week if set up on sheduling. For example, you can order your Roomba 650 to clean your house every 15 o’clock every day.

Finally, the Auto-Docking function makes the Roomba 650 even more desirable. If the battery is low, Roomba 650 will notice it and will return to the docking station to get a full charge. That’s a cool feature that automates a really boring process.

Features of iRobot Roomba 650(Roomba 650 vs 770)

For Roomba 650 vs 770,when it comes to robot-like vacuum, it gets the most dirt, debris and pet, the Roomba 650 is at the top of the list. The unit is a typical iRobot model in terms of its shape. It’s around and features built-in technology that tells you what area of your home needs to concentrate more. The unit is one of the most affordable iRobot Vacuums currently available and here are some features you’ll get on this amazing vacuum.

3-stage cleaning process Series I

This is a powerful process that allows the Roomba 650 to absorb so much dirt, hair and debris. It has a swivel side brush that can come close to the edges of the wall to bypass any loose junk. It also has anti-rotation brushes that make it have a built-in broom and dustpan to collect the dirt. To complete it, this device has an extremely powerful vacuum that will suck her, dirt and debris that would otherwise have been missed by the brushes.iRobot Roomba 650 Robot Vacuum with Manufacturer's Warranty

It is the 3-step cleaning process, which allows this vacuum to store any litter on the floor, regardless of the floor area. It can automatically register and adapt to different types of floors, including floor coverings, hardwood, linoleum, tile and mer. This vacuum uses iRobot’s Series In version of this process, which means it’s only on acoustics track debris.

Spill detection

Still on Roomba 650 vs 770:The Roomba 650 was built with sensors that were made to locate the dirt while running, which could make the device another pass or two over the dirt to ensure that all dirt and debris were picked up as promised.

iAdapt Responsive Cleaning Technology

This is the patented technology of iRobot, which keeps the sensors and software in the vacuum. It allows for a vacuum covering the entire area on the floor that is to be covered in the house. This is what makes it likely that you will walk across the same area several times. It does because the sensors have detected dirt and the vacuum will not stop before all the dirt has been picked.

Virtual Wall

The virtual bird is built in this unit, and keeps away from areas that can be dangerous. It can detect and send stairs and other possible hazardous areas. This feature is also what the vacuum does, it’s safe to go under other things like furniture that you could not reach with a sincere vacuum cleaner. There is a combination of many features that allow the vacuum to be adjusted to different floor surfaces, as well as avoiding loose cables and more.

On board Settings

Many robotic vacuum cleaners make it possible to arrange one or two scheduled times, where it will be clean, but this device is due to the ability to schedule seven clean-up trips each week. Just schedule the time you want to operate, whether it’s in the middle of the night, during dinner or while you’re at work, and take care of the rest. As soon as the scheduled times arrive, the device will leave its docking station and report to the area where it has to be cleaned and once it is ready, it returns to the dock for reloading.

Features of iRobot Roomba 770(Roomba 650 vs 770)

One might assume that since the Roomba 770 is only an updated version of iRobot’s robot pistons, it would have much of the same features as the Roomba 650. Although the two units have much of the same features, this device comes up with a bit more and with a $ 100 higher selling price, it would be expected. The Roomba 770 is advertised to clean up 98 percent of all dirt, dust and pet hair on your floor. What’s more than this product when comparing the Roomba 650 vs 770?iRobot Roomba 770 Robotic Vacuum Cleaner

3-stage cleaning process Series II

This cleaning process is very similar to that of the Roomba 650, but with a big change. The reason why iRobot does this vacuum can clean up to 98 percent of debris on your floor because it uses their advanced cleaning technology including acoustic and optical sensors. With the increased attention to detail, this vacuum can get more of the dirt and dust that others would leave.

Dual HEPA Air Filters

This vacuum was built with double HEPA air filters, which helps keep the air clean while operating when they collect allergens, dust and other hazardous particles. This makes your home feel after every use friezer and cleaner. This is basically an important advantage of the Roomba 770 over 650 for pet owners.

Dirty Detecting Series

With this feature, you also get what iRobot calls a continuous cleaning pattern. With these sensors, the vacuum is set to clean as you would if you were. The sensors find acoustic dirt and debris on the ground and use their optical sensors to find the pet hair. As a result, the Roomba 770 can concentrate more on the areas needed to get more dirt than other vacuum cleaners by using this unique cleaning pattern.

iAdapt Responsive Cleaning Technology

This is the same function as on the Roomba 650. The iAdapt Responsive Cleaning Technology helps your vacuum under furniture to guide obstacles, along floorboards, and even helps to direct the vacuum to soft obstacles such as overcoats. It is also built to recognize carpet edges and cords, which makes it uncomfortable.

Virtual Wall

This is another area where the two robotic vacuum cleaners are the same, but in the case of the Roomba 770 it has two virtual walls that make it clean where it is needed and should avoid areas that do not allow it.

On board settings

With seven different cleaning sessions that can be scheduled in a week, the iRobot Roomba will keep your house clean, even when you are on vacation, on a work trip or at night with friends. It starts when it’s scheduled and once it’s completed, it returns to the docking station to load.

Remote control

This may not seem to be an important factor in a technological product, but when it comes to robotic vacuum cleaners they do not all come together. This allows and allows you to turn it on without ever standing on your couch or bed.

Well, Roomba 655 has much more to offer and the free stuff it brings is a very nice gesture. In addition, there are some improvements in that content and we will discuss it in greater depth.

3. Performance(Roomba 650 vs 655)

We can consider this part of our article most importantly, because if these robotic vacuum cleaners can not come to an acceptable level, we need to think of alternatives. So let’s know how well Roomba 650 and 655 can perform and if there is a big difference between these two models.

Roomba 650

Roomba 650 is a striking robot-like vacuum that is known to be a really good performer. It has some good qualities and can do miracles when used correctly.

Suggested Reading: Roomba 650 vs 770: Pros and Cons and pronunciation

Roomba 650 has a 3-stage cleaning system. It will also be happy to clean tiles, carpets, carpets, laminate and hardwood. It gets even cooler if you realize that the Roomba 650 car fits all floors. For example, if it works on laminate and the surface changes immediately, for example on a rug, Roomba 650 will automatically adjust the cleaning style.

The duration of Roomba 650 is great. We conducted numerous tests and concluded that this robotic vacuum has an exceptional 60 minute runtime.

In addition, Roomba 650 has a cool feature called ‘Scheduling‘ which has cleaned the owner throughout the week.

Roomba 655

Now, Roomba 655 is another random cleaning robotic vacuum that does not completely understand where’s what. Like the 650 model, Roomba 655 can not determine which places are cleaning up more or less.

When I tested Roomba 655, it seemed a smarter robot-like vacuum. The Roomba 655 navigation system is something different and it can become more aware. If we also place the virtual walls, Roomba 655 will be much more effective.iRobot® Roomba® 655 Pet Series Vacuum Cleaning Robot

To make the most of your smart floor cleaner, it’s important to place the dock in an obstacle-free place and store everything on the floor that could interfere with the cleaning process.

Roomba 655 has improved batteries lasting longer than those of Roomba 650. To be precise, Roomba 655 can operate nonstop for 80-90 minutes.

Kudos to the Cliff Detection sensor, Roomba 655 will never fall into the stairs (not even the Roomba 650). In addition, Roomba 655 has a larger trash can and it can now be more dirty than the previous models.

Note: Roomba 655 does not have a full bin indicator, so you need to check it manually so that you have everything under control. When it gets full and you will not empty it, Roomba 655 will not get dirty.

The planning is also very fun. Roomba 655 can be programmed to clean your house every day (up to 7 times a week or a day) and it will obey the command flawlessly.

4.Features  of both model(Roomba 650 vs 655)

Knowing the properties of Roomba 650 and 655 is another important issue that needs to be addressed well. Before we make the purchase, we need to know what features they have and if something is unique about these clever floor cleaners.

To find out, we have made a detailed chart that perfectly shows the main and most important features of Roomba 650 vs 655.

Roomba 655 Roomba 650

From the above graph, it appears that Roomba 650 vs 655  chart are identical. Which they are. There is a minimal difference between these two clever floor cleaners and there are no unique or large shifts.

So, we can not just say which of these smart floor cleaners have the best features because they share everything mentioned above.

5. Cleaning facilities(Roomba 650 vs 655)

In addition to all that we have discussed, here comes the interesting part. The main reason why people buy robotic vacuum cleaners are their cleaning options. In other words, if a robotic vacuum can not function at an acceptable level, it is not for us to invest in such models.

Roomba 650

As we have said, Roomba 650 is a randomly clean robotic vacuum and it is best for this clever floor cleaner to miss a spot or two. If we want to minimize those cases, it is essential to place virtual walls to help Roomba 650 navigate more effectively.

We tested Roomba 650 on different surfaces and cleaned the fabric, fur, hair and fibers. We were amazed at the results that Roomba 650 had. Today, many consider the Roomba 650 as an old-fashioned robot-like vacuum and do not expect much from it.

Surprisingly, Roomba 650 treated all that was against it. The big mistake of Roomba 650 is that it regularly hits the same spot, causing extra battery power. As a result, its runtime can not be used optimally.

To maximize the results of your Roomba 650, you need to know the baby kit, because Roomba 650 is known to be a little weird. In other words, when you activate Roomba 650 and leave it on its own, there may be cases when the robot becomes confused and stuck under the furniture.

So it’s really important to keep an eye on your Roomba 650 to make sure it’s getting the best results. What makes the Roomba 650 even more attractive is the car docking function. In other words, if the battery life is low, Roomba 650 will automatically detect and return to the docking station to get a full charge.

This is an interesting feature that makes the whole automation process much easier and enjoyable. One of the main problems of Roomba 650 is the trash can. Many buyers indicate that it is quite small and can not contain much dirt. In addition, Roomba 650 does not have a full bin indicator, so you have to manually check it. When the trash can be full, it is essential to fill it. Otherwise, Roomba 650 can not get dirty.

Roomba 650 is built quite interestingly. This smart floor cleaner is particularly good for removing pet hair, dust and small pieces of garbage. Compared with previous generation models, the 650 model reached the corners more effectively and knew 3-4x more dirt.

Frankly, Roomba 650 has great cleaning options and can be easily considered to be one of the most effective, efficient and cost-effective robot vacuum cleaners on the market. Currently, Roomba has 650 thousands of satisfied customers and over 95% of buyers are happy with their purchase.

Roomba 655

Roomba 655 is equipped with a NiCad XLife twice as long (in terms of load and discharge cycles) than the Roomba 650. Thus, Roomba 655’s duration exceeds 650. There are other noteworthy differences between these two models that provide cleaning options of Roomba 655.

Suggested Reading: Roomba 770 vs 880: Pros and cons and pronunciation

According to iRobot, Roomba 655’s side brush has a new design that makes it easy to remove. The load base is also different. Roomba 655 has a dual-voltage integrated home, while the Roomba 650 comes with a battery charger and home-based (110V). So, yes, at the beginning, Roomba 655 may seem like a robotic vacuum that should be a better performer.

Roomba 655 is also a randomly clean robotic vacuum that has a bad underestimation of the environment. Roomba 655 can miss some places quite often and manual cleaning can be inevitable.

Again for the roomba 650 vs 655 comparison, the Roomba 655 is a newer model, but has some flaws and it’s not better than the Roomba 650.

  • Roomba 650 vs 980-What are the Key Difference?

When we tested Roomba 655 on different surfaces and clean the fabric, it was fur, fiber and sand, the results were very interesting. What I do not like this robot-like vacuum is that it’s often missing spots and sometimes those spots are very visible.

The garbage bin is small and it can not get much dirt, so it’s essential to clean it every now and then. To ensure that it is not full during cleaning, you must empty the trash can after each planned cleaning.

Kudos to the improved battery life, Roomba 655 stops much longer and the load costs less time. This is a very good addition as a single load can clean up to four five rooms.

When we had activated Roomba 655 (and we tested a few times) it was never fixed. It completely cleaned the dust cannons and made a spicy job to get the debris next to the skirting and corners. There were cases where Roomba 655 did not detect any dirt, but overall the results were acceptable.

As mentioned earlier, it is important to place the docking station in an obstacle-free place. If there are any obstacles, Roomba 655 can fail successfully. If that happens, it’s an unpleasant experience.

6. Advantages and disadvantages of Roomba 650 vs 655

We have discussed some of the key topics, including cleaning options, features and performance rates. Now let’s discuss the pros and cons of Roomba 650 vs 655.

It is important to know the pros and cons of these two clever floor cleaners to avoid misunderstandings after purchasing these robot cleaners. To find out, we have made two graphs that show the pros and cons of these devices perfectly.

Regarding the cons, weak AI and navigation system can be a bit problematic, but nothing to notice. It would have been better if these two were smarter but judging from their price range, it is best normal.

When we compare the pros and cons of Roomba 650 and 655, both smart floor cleaners have a lot in common. They even share the disadvantages. Both Roomba 650 vs 655 seems to be similar in comparison.

7. Support (Roomba 650 vs 655)

Having a good support team is important, as when people buy robotic vacuum cleaners, they are often confused and have some unanswered questions. If these people do not find these answers, all they can do is reach the support team.

Fortunately, iRobot has a great support team. I gave them a few times and the experience was excellent. IRobot support can be reached via email, phone and live chat. Calling them is the best option because it is faster and more convenient.

8. Comparison Chart for Roomba 650 vs 655

Before we close our article, the last thing I would like to present is the comparison chart of Roomba 650 and 655 to find out which is the best place to take. Below is a detailed graph in which we compare the most important aspects of these two.

So both of these robot pistons are functional, effective and popular. People who already own these devices are quite happy with their purchases. If we take a look at the chart above, it is clear that Roomba 650 and 655 have the same characteristics and capabilities.

The only aspect where Roomba 655 stores the 650 model is the battery life. Plus, it has the skin detection function that makes it easier for the smart floor cleaner to detect dirt around the house.

My Final Verdict for Roomba 650 vs 655

Roomba 650 and 655 are popular robotic vacuum cleaners that are best-selling products on Amazon. Today, both smart floor cleaners have thousands of satisfied customers and the majority of these customers strongly evaluate these devices.

Comparing Roomba 650 vs 655 makes it hard to tell which of these two take the top spot. Today, Roomba 650 is a popular (the best selling robot vacuum that iRobot has ever released) clever floor cleaner and is the most successful.
Roomba 655 is a newer model that is worth it and there is no guarantee that it will be as functional as the 650 model. So it’s reasonable and logical when we say that the Roomba 650 is a better option. With its popularity, high ratings and positive reviews, it is definitely a safer purchase.

Roomba 620 vs 650(Pros and cons)

Before we begin evaluating these two clever floor cleaners, let’s say a few words about smart floor cleaners and how they can benefit any homeowner. To begin with, everyone hates the vacuum and it’s even more annoying when it’s got to do some work.

It’s a time-consuming job that needs a lot of energy, which needs to be spent on different things. So some geniuses came up with a good idea and created clever floor cleaners who could get the job for us.

There are many robotic vacuum cleaners on the market and dozens of manufacturers are promising buyers that they have the most complete and intelligent products. Unfortunately, not all manufacturers can be trusted and people are often misled by these statements.

The good thing is that iRobot is the largest, most trusted and reliable manufacturer. Their robot suitors are just excellent.

So let’s continue with the important things and discuss some fun things about these clever floor cleaners. For roomba 620 vs 650, We  gonna discuss different topics, including, installation, features, pros and cons, cleaning options, etc.

1. Installation process (Roomba 620 vs 650)

Let’s not waste time on this simple task and cover this subject a bit. One thing I would like to say is that setting up Roomba 620 and 650 is very simple.

I will not explain the process in detail, as iRobot has uploaded a beautiful guide that perfectly explains how to set up the Roomba 600 series.

If this is not enough and you still have questions about the installation process, you can always visit the support team on the iRobot website. Those guys are great. They respond quickly and provide professional answers and tips.

Plus, you can always browse the vids on YouTube. A few nice guides have been uploaded.

2. Design (Roomba 620 vs 650)

So the next topic we should discuss are the designs for Roomba 620 vs 650. Today, every home owner wants to buy a smart gadget that looks attractive. Since everyone strives to build a modern smart home, it’s essential that the gadgets are modern.Knowing the dimensions of these robotic vacuum cleaners is another important thing, because if it’s too big or small, they have trouble reaching certain places of your home
So, given the above information, let’s write more about the designs of Roomba 620 vs 650 and find out if the existing owners are satisfied with what they have.

Roomba 620

The dimensions of Roomba 620 are 17 x 18 x 5 inches and the weight 7.9 pounds. Personally, I consider Roomba 620 as one of the most original robotic vacuum cleaners on the market. Compared to other popular Roomba devices available only in black, Roomba 620 users offer something different and unique.

Roomba 620 Design

If you first encounter the Roomba 620, it will catch your eye immediately. Navigating this smart floor washer is quite easy, as it has only three buttons that you can press.

Unlike the other Roomba models that glow in green, Roomba 620 is yellowish. I personally know a few people who own the Roomba 620 and every time I visited them, if Roomba was active, it hit everyone’s eyes.

Regarding the actual cleaning process, Roomba 620 can fit anywhere and it even makes the most unreachable places in the room perfectly clean.

Roomba 650

This model is considered popular and considered to be one of the most beautifully designed smart floor cleaners that are available. It’s dark, it’s attractive. The dimensions of Roomba 650 are 13.4 x 3.6 x 13.4 inches and the weight 7.9 pounds.
It is well known that iRobot loves minimalist design and always tries to minimize their robotic vacuum cleaners. They did well designing the Roomba 650 because it played an important role

Roomba 650 Design

Roomba 650 can easily reach the most difficult parts of your home. It can easily crawl under your beds, benches, tables, etc.. If you look at the Roomba 650 more accurately, you’ll see that it’s very different from models like Roomba 770 and 880. The 650 model is darker, it’s gorgeous and the green color around the ‘CLEAN’ button makes it even more attractive.

Honestly, Roomba 650 is definitely one of the finest smart floor cleaners on the market. It’s so well made that I rarely saw anyone complaining about the appearance of this robotic vacuum.

3. Performance(Roomba 620 vs 650)

The next topic we need to discuss is the performance rates of Roomba 620 and 650. Both of these robot pistons are priced low compared to other successful models like Roomba 960 and 980 and it is essential to know if these two can be at an acceptable level. .

Roomba 620

Roomba 620 is a robotic vacuum with medium capacity and can deliver a satisfying job. It is far from perfect but it can easily complete some of the most boring tasks. There are several factors that need to be considered before buying the Roomba 620.It is not as functional as other, but with more advanced robot pistons.iRobot robot vacuum cleaner Roomba 620

In other words, Roomba 620 has a difficult time to understand its surroundings and it’s not possible to determine which places are cleaning up more or less. So Roomba 620 requires some childcare and a little manual cleaning, if it leaves some places untouched.

Roomba 620 has the 3-step cleaning system, which makes the smart floor cleaner equally happy with cleaning carpets, tiles, laminate and hardwood floors. One of the best additions to Roomba 620 is the ‘Vapor Detection’ mode, which makes the device dirty and requires extra cleaning.

To make the most of this robotic vacuum, buying Virtual Walls is a must. If you plan to save some money, do not. Virtual walls make everything easier and the Roomba 620 is organized and directed more directly.

Tip: If you start your Roomba 620 for the first time, try not to analyze the movements. You will stare for hours. As we have said, Roomba 620 is a  robotic vacuum that cleans  randomly and its movement can not be predicted.

Roomba 650

All-time best-selling robot vacuum, Roomba 650, is a great, affordable and durable smart floor cleaner commonly considered the “best option” to buy.iRobot Roomba 650 Robot Vacuum with Manufacturer's Warranty

When we compare Roomba 620 vs 650 directly, there are some striking differences that should be noted. To begin with, Roomba 650 offers its owner a handy feature called ‘Scheduling’, which allows you to schedule up to 7x a week. It’s a great thing that saves the owner a lot of time.

If we take this further, Roomba 650 will surprise you even more. This will automatically connect and charge. In other words, when Roomba 650 will complete the cleaning process, it will automatically return to the dock and get a full charge.

The biggest disadvantage of Roomba 650 that messes with its performance is the arbitrary cleaning process (the same applies to the Roomba 620). When a robot vacuum is not clever enough to determine its place of residence and can not determine which places are extra or less, take much longer to stop vacuuming. In addition, they regularly miss spots and even clean the same place, which conserves battery life and reduces performance.

Roomba 650 Automatically fits all types of floor so you do not have any problems with carpet, tile, hardwood, laminate, etc.

When we tested Roomba 650 on all surfaces, the trash bin was always full and rarely left behind and. Note: We tested the Roomba 650 with the Virtual Walls. Results may differ if they are not present..

4. Features(roomba 620 vs 650)

It’s important to know what these robot cleaners have to offer and if there are some unique features they wear. To do this we have created a nice chart that will give up the characteristics of both models.

Roomba 620 Roomba 650
Dirt Detect Technology 3-Stage Cleaning System
Virtual Walls Technology Self-Recharge & Auto Adjust to Floors
AeroForce 3-Stage Cleaning System Auto Docking

As you can see in the table above, there is a big difference between Roomba 620 and 650. There are several important features Roomba 650 offers us that can not be found in the 620 model.

Knowing that Roomba 650 is the most successful robot cleaner ever released, it’s very unlikely that a clever floor cleaner, like the Roomba 620, can do better.

The main reason why people with the Roomba 650 would prefer is the planning features it offers. It offers something incredible comfort and makes it easier for the owner. In addition, Roomba 650 has a beautiful feature called ‘car docking’ that automates the boring manual loading and docking process.

5. Cleaning facilities (roomba 620 vs 650)

What we need to write now is the cleaning possibilities of these two robot pistons. We have reviewed all their features, discussed the performance rates and the designs of Roomba 620 and 650.

Now it’s time to know how to clean Roomba 620 and 650 well. If they do not meet the buyer’s standards, then it’s smart to look for alternatives.

Roomba 620

If you activate Roomba 620, it’s hard to detect small objects. When we tested Roomba 620 in a kitchen room, it easily discovered things like the fridge and the walls, but it was difficult to see the chairs and tables.

Roomba 620 regularly bounces with similar objects and if it is running at high speed, Roomba 620 can break or scratch the material. If you leave Roomba 620 yourself without supervision, it can be stuck and freeze during the cleaning process until you manually remove it.

To make things smoother, it’s important that you invest in Virtual Walls. Those things help navigate your Roomba 620 better and see obstacles more clearly.

The arbitrary cleaning style makes these robotic vacuum cleaners less effective, and iRobot has taken serious thought about this subject and introduced a new feature called ‘Vapor Detection’, which detects any cleaning machines that need clever floor cleaners that need extra or less cleaning.

This way, robotic vacuum cleaners save energy and deliver sharper results and need less manual cleaning. When we tested Roomba 620 against dust, fur, pet hair, fiber and seeds, it was a great job and every time we could check the bin, it was full of dirt.

Note: You must check the trash can regularly. When it is full, Roomba 620 will not collect any dirt. You should also know that Roomba 620 has no full bin indicator, so it will not be notified when the trash can become full.

Roomba 620 does not have the multi-room navigation system, so do not expect to navigate in your home. All you can do is clean a single room. The effectiveness of Roomba 620 increases if you remove obstacles from the room that can cause problems.

Honestly, the Roomba 620 is a beautiful robot vacuum that delivers sharp cleaning experience. But it’s still important to keep an eye on the clever floor cleaner, so things do not get out of control.

Roomba 650

Now, the popular, well-known Roomba 650 has its own pros and cons, like the 620 model. Roomba 650 is also a randomly clean robotic vacuum that has trouble detecting certain types of obstacles. I can say that it is much better than the Roomba 620, but I had strange scenarios when Roomba 650 fell in the stairs. The most unexpected case was when Roomba 650 locked in the bathroom (I still can not see how it succeeded).

So, Roomba 650 also needs a babysitter. It is important for the owner to keep an eye on the clever floor cleaner so that it does not break and break things. For example, if Roomba 650 will clash with stands or tables and if there are a number of vulnerable obstacles, they may fall (Virtual Walls help here too).

As for the cleaning process of Roomba 650, it’s great. It cleans the debris perfectly and acts easily with fur, hair, fabric and fibers. If we compare the cleaning options of Roomba 650 and 620, I would say that Roomba 650 is 2x more powerful.

The car docking feature makes Roomba 650 more independent than the 620 model because it can be trusted more. If during the cleaning process the battery is low, Roomba 650 automatically returns to the dock for full charge.

Roomba 650 has a small bin filled quickly and the lack of full bin indicator obliges the owner to check it regularly. As with the 620 model, when the bin becomes full, Roomba can not collect any dirt until the trash can be cleaned.

The way in which Roomba 650 is built makes it particularly good for removing pet hair, dust and small pieces of garbage. Compared with other Roombas, the 650 model reached the corners more effectively and takes 3-4x more dirt.

In short, Roomba 650 is perfect for incorporating pet hair, dust and debris. It is much more reliable, effective and independent. Compared to Roomba 620, the 650 model gives 2x better results.

6. Advantages and disadvantages (Roomba 620 vs 650)

As we slowly move to the last parts of our comparative article, we should write some more important topics. One of these is the pros and cons of Roomba 620 and 650. The chart clearly shows the superiority of Roomba 650 over the 620 series. It has better features, on a larger scale, offers more flexibility and freedom, is more reliable and can remove much more dirt.

My Final Verdict for Roomba 620 vs 650

If I had to choose between Roomba 620 and 650, I would definitely go for the 650 model because it is more complete, functional and durable. Roomba 650 has thousands of satisfied customers and has proven to be very helpful.

These two clever floor cleaners have the same features and capabilities, but Roomba 650 offers extra comfort that changes everything. Roomba 620 and 650 are in the same price range and there is no factor in which Roomba 620 exceeds the 650 model. But if you feel you want to go with Roomba 620 checkout their pricing here again

In short, the purchase of Roomba 650 is a thoughtful, prominent and is considered a beneficial move. With the planning features, the Roomba 650 makes a desirable model with automatic docking and recharging.

Roomba 650 vs 980-What are the Key Difference?

September 13, 2017 By admin Leave a Comment

Roomba 650 vs 980:The Roomba 980 has everything: an App for Scheduled Cleaning and Updates, a state-of-the-art Adapt® 2.0 navigation system that lets you navigate the 980 seamlessly at a full level of your home and the ability to reload and then clean.

And that’s just for starters. But of course, this sucking perfection comes at a cost, and a rather steep (see here).

    • 1.1 Roomba 980
    • 1.2 Roomba 650
  • 2 Which one has a Better Value, the Roomba 980 or 650?

Compare this to the Roomba 650, which was issued in August 2012. Granted, the 650 has no App or the 980’s, but it’s an effective vacuum (more below) that sells about 64% less at the time of this writing.
This makes me conclude that the roomba 980 worth it all? Yes, it’s a beautiful vacuum, but are the 980 content enhancements or are they just fringe? It’s nice to have but nothing you really should miss.

In this review I will answer two questions. Firstly, if you already have the Roomba 650, is it time to upgrade?

Secondly, if you do not have a robot vacuum and are considering buying, what would you get: the top of the line model for almost a thousand dollars, or a solid vacuum that is three years old is missing from an App, but it costs a fraction of the price.

In what follows, I will talk about the key features of both the Roomba 980 and 650, about their pros and cons, and then ending by analyzing which vacuum represents the better purchase. Before we reach that, let’s look at the main sales outlets for each vacuum:

Be in a hurry? See my main benefits from both below …

Roomba 650 Advantages Roomba 980 Advantages
About $650 dollars cheaper than the 980 (check here for latest) iAdapt 2.0® Navigation with Visual localization allows the 980 to navigate an entire level of your home while keeping track of its location.
Cheapest Roomba that still has scheduling features Comes with an App for both Android and iPhone. The App allows you to schedule and launch the 980 remotely as well as check the status of your cleaning jobs.
Highly rated, one of the best selling robot vacuums of all time; excellent value for the money Cleans every bit as well as the 650 but also, thanks to the Roomba’s brushless extractors, hair doesn’t clog the vacuum.

Key features of the Roomba 650 vs 980

Roomba 980 (Roomba 650 vs 980)

Cleans a full level of your home: As I have already mentioned, iAdapt®0 Navigation with Visual Localization allows the 980 to navigate a full level of your home and track the location. When it needs to be charged, the cleaning breaks, charges itself and returns to the cleaning pattern. This allows you to set up a cleaning schedule for the 980 and forget about it! You do not have to manually apply a cleaning cycle, you do not have to recommend that a Room Battery has charged all rooms and, if not, which ones are still cleaning.
Cleans under benches and chairs: Low profile design (it’s only 6 inches long) lets the 980 clean under virtually any furniture.

Cleans All Floor Type: Cleans carpet, hardwood, laminate and tile. The cleaning of deep carpets is a good idea thanks to the AeroForce® Carpet Boost Cleaning System, which automatically increases the power in more difficult terrain.
Automatic Docks and Recharges: The 980 not only docks and charging when the battery is low, resume the cleaning pattern when the weather is full.
The vacuum does not clog: The 980 has brushless extractors that prevent the hair from getting caught and the vacuum clogged. This may not sound groundbreaking, but it’s a very fun feature. I’m not going to estimate how much, but I spend a lot of time picking my long hair from my Roomba 595 brushes. The 980 also works like a dream with pet hair. I have two cats and if I do not vacuum every day I see loose cat hair around the room, like tumbleweed. Many of the vacuum cleaners I tested have had less success in the pet’s hair, but not the 980. It was no problem to suck every last pet hair drier, regardless of size or how thin it was.
AeroForce® High-Efficiency Filter: This special feature is available only on the 800 and 900 Series Roombas. It captures 99% of allergens, pollen and particles as small as 10 microns. ” Impressive. Check my full roomba 980 reviews here

Roomba 650(Roomba 650 vs 980)

Cleans every section of the floor many times: While the Roomba 650 does not have the 980’s iAdapt®0 Navigation Technology, the 650 uses the software and sensors system to choose dozens of robots behavior at 60 times a second. This allows the vacuum to clean more of a room and clean it by making multiple passages over each part of the floor.

Cleans all floor types: like the 980, the 650 cleans all floor types (carpet, hardwood, laminate and tile).
Cleans under benches and chairs: The low profile of the 650 allows dust and dirt to be vacuumed even under the lowest hanging furniture (the 650 is 3.6 cm tall, like the 980).

Automatic Docks and Recharges: The 650 will dock and reload between cleaning when the battery is low, but unlike the 980, it will not return to cleaning.
Enhanced options to get her: 650’s AeroVac ™ technology maximizes cleaning results. Less hair becomes entangled in the brushes of the vacuum cleaner or on the floor. Although the 650 does not have much of the advanced features of the 980, both vacuum subjects work well with the incorporation of pet hair. If, like you, you have pets, this can be the number one point of sale for a robot vacuum: there are no pet hair hats without hassle walking in your house (although this may be less for people who have carpets as opposed to hardwood ).
AeroVac ™ Filter: Contains fine dust and debris and is compatible with all robots of Roomba 500 and 600 Series that have an AeroVac ™. Check my full roomba 650 review here.

Which one is better,980 or 650?(Roomba 650 vs 980)

Roomba 650 vs 980

Many people who love vacuum vacuums hating vacuuming. They have a dream, they want to come home to clean floors without hanging a finger. I know that’s my dream!

The 980, because it can autonomously clean a whole of your home can make that dream come true. The 650 can not. While the 650 is a good solid vacuum, you need to restart the vacuum after it has been charged.

Without me, to activate repeated cleaning cycles, my apartment floor would not be cleaned. Certainly a point for the 980.

In terms of what it can do, in terms of its features, the 980 is clearly superior. But that can not be the end of the comparison. I think that for most people the question is not alone, “what’s the better vacuum?” It’s “what vacuum is the better value for me?”

So,for roomba 650 vs 980 ,which one has a better value, the Roomba 980 or the 650? It is not surprising that the answer is: it all depends.

If you have a Roomba 650 and happy with how it cleans your floors, it’s great! You might want to upgrade. Keep reading about new robot suctioners when they come out and if there is one that can deliver something, what you can not old, buy it.

Go with the roomba 980 as … On the other hand, there are good reasons to upgrade even if you’re happy with the 650. For example, catching every last micron dust can be important for people with allergies. In that case, the 980 with its AeroForce® High-Efficiency Filter can be just worth it.

Or if you’re someone who’s not very mobile, the 980 can be the answer you’re looking for. With the 980 you do not have to go constantly and tell that the vacuum will clean again after docking, but that will do everything on its own. Furthermore, you do not need to bend any buttons.

On the 980 there is an App.

Go with the roomba 650 as … But let’s say you decided to buy a new vacuum and you (of course!) Want the best value for money.

Should you be forced by the affordability of the 650 or if you want to go the top of the line, does the 980 know that we will continue to grow more impressive in the coming years, making the 650 look less and less attractive?
